10 - Mount Pleasant
As the name suggests, Mount Pleasant is a quiet square of beautiful, timeless, Victorian style housing with private gardens. Popular with young professionals, this affluent area predominantly attracts successful singles and couples with busy lifestyles. Hidden in the heart of Stranmillis, it is easy to see the appeal of the area with its significant range of amenities.
9 - Holyrood
Holyrood is a private area tucked away close to Queen’s University consisting of mostly detached housing. The feeling of exclusivity increases due to only a small number of properties being situated here. The area is again mainly populated by young high ranking professionals.
8 - Cadogan Park
A great example of why we love the area of BT9, Cadogan Park is one of Malone’s most desirable, mature tree lined streets. Immaculately maintained with large detached houses on either side of a wide, straight road. The location is just minutes from the fashionable Lisburn Road.
7 - Cambourne Park
For a more suburban area with large green spaces, Cambourne Park is appealing to families that want the rural feel of the countryside but still have the benefits that come with remaining close to Belfast city. As a result, it tends to attract a slightly older, married population.
6 - Bladon Drive
Another popular address with easy access to Stranmillis and Lisburn Road amenities, Bladon Drive is popular with older, highly qualified individuals. The playing fields at Bladon Park and Lagan Valley Regional Park also make this the ideal place to live for active families.
5 - Notting Hill
Another private road with large houses, new builds, Victorian properties and private gated developments, this one has something for everyone. It also a highly convenient location for families as it is close to leading schools and amenities.
4 - Adelaide Park
Very similar to Cadogan Park with its beautiful tree lined streets, Adelaide Park is more of a mix of apartments and retirement accommodation with the benefit of generally less parked cars!
3 - Myrtlefield Park
Beautiful tree lined avenue with both large and small detached houses, as well as some semi-detached family homes. There is library on the Lisburn Road end as well as being only a short walk from local shops such as Marks & Spencer - this one really does tick all the boxes!
2 - Broomhill Park
Suited to the more discerning bravo tango niner, Broomhill Park has all the convenience of Malone, Stranmillis and the Lisburn Road, yet provides a more quiet residential area very similar to our number one choice BT9 address.
1 - Malone Park
For decades, Malone Park has continued to be regarded as the number one residence in South Belfast. A highly private area with a no through road, the charming street is wide, tree lined and almost exclusively consisting of large detached houses with spacious grounds. Residents here include wealthy property developers and high ranking members of legal services.
