In 1884 Henry Boyd Dunn & Co commenced business as ‘House, Land and Insurance Agents’ in Rea’s Building Royal Avenue and hence the roots of Douglas Huston were established.

Douglas N. Huston commenced business at a young age as an estate agent, surveyor and valuer in 1939 having trained with a firm in the city. He practised from offices in Donegall Square South and subsequently moved to Shaftesbury square in 1945. He had by then acquired the practice of Henry B Dunn & Co in 1939. In 1967 his nephew Douglas joined the practice and became a partner in 1975. Subsequently in 1995 the practice moved to Stranmillis Road and recently to 4 Malone Road. In 2004 the third generation of the family Gareth joined the practice. In addition key members of the property team dealing with sales, lettings & management have cumulative experience of 80 years with us.
