At the last count there are over 6 individual laws governing the letting of a property in Northern Ireland and every year for the last 8 years there has been another layer of red tape added to the lettings process from EPC's, Landlord registration, Tenant deposit regulations, Gas Safety Regulations, Fire Safety, HMO requirements, the list goes on and on and there is no sign this is going to be anything other than ongoing further statutory and regulatory burden on Landlords.
